The campaign, which basically centers on the praying of a Holy Rosary with specific intentions dedicated to every country/nation, is a project launched worldwide by the Family Crusade of the Philippines in celebration of its 60th anniversary this year, and strongly endorsed by the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).  The objective of the campaign is to bring world peace by reciting the Holy Rosary.  The focus is to "bring all the people of all nations of the world to Jesus and His Father and the Holy Spirit, through Mary our Blessed Mother, to bring peace, love, joy and tranquillity to every people and nation."

AMR2The Embassy, in partnership with the Philippine Chaplaincy in Brussels, conducted a special mass service that included therecitation of the Holy Rosary that day. The mass was  co-celebrated by Filipino priests Reverend Raymund Gaspar and Reverend Lyndon Balubar.  The event coincided with the observance of Palm Sunday in Belgium, hence, a large part of the Filipino Community participated in the mass service and recitation of the Holy Rosary.

Philippine Ambassador to Belgium H.E. Victoria S. Bataclan led the Embassy's participation in the event. Her message of love, compassion, courage and peace to all Filipinos during the mass service was made more meaningful with the onset of the Lenten season.
